Outstanding quality and price

No Hydro

This appears to be a good quality refrigerant tank but can't be transported if it contains anything pressurized within the US without a valid hydrostatic stamp and this tank does not have that stamp or documentation so before use it will need hydrostatic testing at about $50 USD. It also has a valve in place of a level detection switch and that valve is easy to get bumped and turned on. I placed a cap on it for right now and will eventually replace with a plug since my reclaim unit does not have the capability to use the switch and the valve currently in place would be easy to damage since it extends about 1.5 inches above the tank in a vulnerable location.

Good for shallow pool

This is a lighter duty telescoping pole than the JED it replaced and it has a significant amount of flex if fully extended. I would recommend this product only on shallow pools that don't require full extension. The JED product was constructed with substandard fittings that degraded with sun exposure in less then 3 years so I ordered this product in hopes it would be more resistant to the Florida sun. Time will tell if that's true but I would not purchase again for a 10' deep pool due to the light material and flex. It must be handled carefully to avoid over flex resulting in breakage.
