My eBay Harley!!!

I've never even been on a motorcycle before in my entire life, and I'm approaching 60 years old. Is this what they call mid-life crisis??? Regardless, back in the day I used to ride a 10-15 speed bicycle everywhere, including long trips in the mountains. As you riders know, there's nothing that compares to riding on 2 wheels. After having thought about a motorcycle all my life, I finally decided it was time. I mean, it had to be a Harely-Davidson, what other choice is there... it's an American icon. I just started looking at sorts of Harleys, locally and all around the country. Thee is one that just caught my eye... it was local, the cost was low and it seemed to be in reasonable shape. It seems like a good enough bike to start out with. I was pleased with the final auction price, and the seller was even super enough to deliver it to my front door. Once in my possession it looked like a great bike for being nearly 20 years old. I didn't even know how to start it, but after taking a training class, I got the motorcycle endorsement and withing 2 weeks I was riding. I was then truly upset with myself... for having waited so long in my life to enjoy this great freedom. The 1992Sportster XLH 1200 that I got is a great bike, but then that just may be because I'm having so much fun riding. The bike is still very solid, has plenty of power and giddy-up-and-go, and even though it has developed a minor problem I am overall very pleased with my purchase. I'm already eyeing newer and bigger Harleys in my future, but for now this Sportster is a blast. My only complaint with the bike is the small gas tank. Yet it came with a larger one, which I am now repainting to add to the bike as soon as possible. Harley Davidson is expensive... no doubt about it. However, it comes from right here in the ol' U. S. of A. and I'm proud to ride it. I will be a Harely fan now for all the remaining days I have left on this earth!

Microsoft Xbox One Launch Edition 500GB Console - Black

Still finding great joy with the original XBox One...

Of course everyone in the gaming arena and XBox world is now familiar with the original XBox One, so a review I'm guessing is not really necessary, but having owned XBox since its conception, I didn't even think of the less superior gaming systems. The R&D, the platform, the hardware and software all lead to awesome game play. I actually purchased this temporary XBox One original to hold me over until I can upgrade to the One X, or probably by then the next update! Recommended...

House: Season Three

House is the most brilliant and intelligent show ever written and portrayed on television. The cast of character is superb, but Hugh Laurie is omnipotent. This DVD set of Season Three gives us all of this... EXCELLENT!
