Matthew West - History is great!
"History" - a CD by Matthew West - has great comtemporary Christian music with thought-provoking lyrics and a sound that appeals to all parts of the brain -- it's up-to-date and connects with me right where I am. Some of the songs challenge me, others comfort and encourage me not to worry about mistakes in the past, because "yesterday is history."
I ordered this copy for my friend's sister, because she has a handicapped child, and the song "The Last Ones" speaks encouragement specifically to that situation.

Inspiring true story, great book!
Excellent book, detailing true events that happened to the author. After being in a deadly crash involving many vehicles, in which he author was pronounced dead by 4 teams of EMT's, he miraculously came back to life. The book describes the accident, what he experienced while dead, and the aftermath from his other injuries. I personally heard him speak and met him at an event in my hometown several years ago. Very inspiring! Includes many relevant things that the movie does not. I highly recommend this book!

The Passion of the Christ -- what everyone should see!
7 of 8 found this helpful I bought the Passion of the Christ DVD because I saw this movie in a movie theater when it first came out, and it was so AMAZING that it is still fresh in my mind after all this time. I have seen other movies about the life of Jesus Christ, and they were good, but this one is truly the BEST. No wonder it received so much controversy that year (2004): the story is such a powerful one, and the details, art, acting, sounds, emotions that Mel Gibson packs into it, make it unforgettable. I would say that anyone who has not seen it, regardless of their religious preference, really ought to see it. In fact, I purchased this DVD solely to give to a friend who hasn't seen it yet.
