Great performance still today for a very reasonable price - even better if you can get it on a best offer.
1 of 6 found this helpful I put this in a machine running an AM2 slot dual core processor and it is able to play Oblivion really well with medium settings, I was able to play Rocksmith really smoothly too.
I'm going to be changing it over to a quad core AM3 chip in a few weeks and going to 8GB system memory and I'm sure I will be able to play even more with this, possibly Skyrim at that point at least on medium, when I go to a six core AM3 with 16GB DDR3 I am sure that Skyrim will be able to go to High on this card - probably even newer games (Modern Warfare remake, Resident Evil 2/3 etc..)

Perfect for getting great load times on modern hard drives.
I've been using this about two weeks now with a 500GB drive in it - and it's super easy to remove and re-install so that I can put more games on (and I've loaded about 40 so far, with many, many more to go). My games load super fast, and I'm playing through the backlog I have wanted to get through for many years on the actual system instead of emulation which is a huge plus for me as a purist.
The only thing I might say is that if your hard drive is like mine and doesn't completely fill the length of the bay - you may need to do a further mod to make sure the connection to the adapter is complete as the drive may slide forward a bit and break the connection - it's only caused me an issue once so far, and when I finally get all of the games loaded that I'm going to play for PS2 - it will be more of a non issue.

Very happy with my purchase
1 of 1 found this helpful Heck of a lot better price than the $240 + installation costs I'd normally have to pay. Definitely is much more worthwhile to learn how to fix your own broken stuff.
