Night of the Comet
This movie was a favorite of my pre-teen daughter.I believe she liked it because it was one of the very few movies at that time to show teenage girls as strong, fearless and capable of using lethal weapons to protect themselves from zombies. Most movies at that time showed girls and women as helpless screamers. Night of the Comet gave my daughter female heroes she could
identify with and dream about emulating should some horrific disaster happen.
I loved the movie because it was witty and clever, and had a happy ending.

Wonderful apocalyptic science fiction. Great novel of human courage.
This novel is one of the best " end of the world " stories ever written. After a plague reduces the world's population to a very few, isolated individuals, those remaining must face rebuilding a world without experts to provide things like electricity, plumbing, etc. This is a very human novel that explores how people cope when the world they knew disappears. These are ordinary people, like your neighbors, suddenly faced with unthinkable challenges. How they find one another, and learn to live in this new world keeps you turning the pages way past bedtime.

A guidebook for parents and grandparents who wish adult financial security for a loved child
If you wish your child's or grandchild's life to be better than your's, this is the book to read. You can make it possible for your child or grandchild to start life without college debt, without credit card debt to pay for a wedding, without car payments for that first car, with enough money for a down payment on a first home.
This book teaches you how to plan to make financial security as an adult a reality for the child you love.
This book is worth every penny.
