More juice, less pulp
1 of 1 found this helpful Have been juicing using a Breville Juice Fountain that I purchased about 10 years ago - love the machine, still works great. Wanted to upgrade to a masticating juicer. After much research and debating between the Omega J8006HDS and this one, I decided to go with the Tribest Green Star Elite because of the reviews for sweeter, better tasting juice and their technology with the twin gears.
Just juiced with it and am shocked at how little pulp there is compared to the Breville. Did a fantastic job on the greens - pulled them right in. Needed to add some pressure for the beets. The pineapple clogged up the screen and created a back flow. Juicing celery helped clear it a bit.
Poured a cup of water through the juicer while it was still on after I finished juicing. It took a few minutes, but the water pushed out the remaining pulp in the spout.
It’s not nearly as difficult to clean as I thought it would be based on user reviews, though it does take more time because of the pulp and residue left on the machine and the screen. The most time consuming part to clean is the residue on the machine. The screen cleans easily with a butter knife and toothbrush.
