exceptional value here
Worked beautifully! And perform nearly as good as 3.46ghz chips at lower cost. These processors are the best value if considering an upgrade and this is a great outfit to order reliable processors from.

ATN NVG7-2 Night Vision Goggles
4 of 4 found this helpful For being fairly affordable Gen 2's, I find these goggles to be very functional - especially being compared to a NV scope. NV scopes FoV is like looking through a toilet paper roll that's magnified ... in the dark! Since their magnified, it see's out to the limits of the NV capacity. And, who wants to hold their rifle up the whole entire time scanning an area for targets. I quickly discounted NV scopes for this reason alone.
These goggles have a 1.4 mag and I found walking (and driving ATV's) with them feasible and not too confusing. They have a 40 degree FoV that allows you to scan an area much easier and much more comfortably than using a scope. I added an Aimpoint Comp M4 to my AR and can easily shoulder my weapon and get a targeting solution without taking my eye off target. I also added a 3 w IR flashlight w/ pressure switch (ebay). I would be comfortable to say I can engage targets out beyond 200 yds with ease.
They also have a built in IR source for managing in spaces with zero light emissions. It's weak but functional.
Drawbacks - somewhat heavier than I'd like, Magnification would be better at 1x, CR123 batteries - better buy those in bulk (ebay),
