As I Lay Dying

An interesting presentation of one of my favorite Faulkner (indeed, American) classics. Very very tightly bound to the text of the book, so quite desperate. If you don't know the book, you may still engage, but the audience of readers is probably going to take quickest to this screen version. Well done. Some of the split screen action used to evoke the various points of view out of which the book's story unfolds can be a bit disconcerting. This is a difficult book to read, and so any realization of it in film is bound to be just as difficult. Great actors, great characterizations, great locale and photography. Great watching it develop with fair amount of intensity and tautness

Hard to find

I used to find this in TJ MAXX every so often. But not often enough. It occurred to me to try to find another more regular source because the scent is invigorating and intoxicating. I found a vendor (in Germany) on eBay some years ago and bought 12 bottles of it. Last month I reached for my last bottle of those 12. So I placed this order for 6. The product shipped has virtually the same fragrance however the color of the product is not the same as m old supply. The original color was a very yellow-green; this product is a decidedly blue green. So I am guessing the German manufacturers changed the formula? I don't know.
