Daiwa Sealine SL-H 6.1:1 Ocean Casting Reel Light Action, Right Hand - SL20SH

Very smooth drag. Caught 6- 30 lb yellowfin tuna with it. Reel was loaded with 300 yds of braid and 25 lb top shot. The reel was a great match for my Shimano Terez medium heavy rod.

a great reel for the price. Its identical to to exceler 2000 but has more bearing. i own and use both reels. If you don't want to spent the extra money buy the exceler reel. Both reels are smooth and have excellent drags. The drag has a wide range of adjustment and is extremily smooth. The handle is long and make turning easy but makes retrieving slower then a shorter handle reel like my shimano saro and stradic 1000. The reel feels more like a 2500 size reel. Line stacking is excellent and line comes off well with light casting weight. One word of caution-the spool has openings that allow dust and dirt to collect on spool shaft and bail trip mechanism which causes the the reel to turn hard and the bail won't trip well. DON'T lay the reel on loose dirt since this will cause the trip mechanism which is open and at the bottom side of the reel to accumulate dirt. This will cause problems with the bail closing well. I fish weekly and own 40 reels.
