It was broken within a few weeks
We installed the mounting post in concrete and a few weeks later found it to be moving. When we dug it up - we found it snapped off at one of the junctions at the concreted level. We are guessing that someone clipped it with their car but there were no other signs of damage and noone confessed. We have ordered this new one as a replacement. I wish this post was more substantial so that if someone hit it with ttheir car then they would regret it and not us.

An enjoyable coloring book
It has a variety of scenes with flowers, buildings, animals and people.I really like the fact that these are actual botanical gardens and are identified. I had some trouble recognizing the tiny details in the background, couldn't always tell what it was such as a rock, a pond or what? If in doubt I colored it green. LOL I do wish that adult coloring books would not put a picture on both sides of a page as it tends to bleed over onto the page that is facing it. I have this problem with most of the books, including this one.

Leica V-Lux-1 Digital Camera
13 of 14 found this helpful I've been considering buying a digital camera for many years and I wanted to stay with the Leica name, if possible, but the cost would have to be moderate. I was looking for a camera with non-removable lens (to prevent dust entering the works) with a long zoom capacity with at least a 10-megapixel capability. When I saw the Leica V-Lux-1 it seemed to fit the bill. Also, I chose it on the basis of reasonable price ($850). I like its large movable viewing screen. It is very versatile with about a thousand (really) different functions, many of which I'll never learn to use. I like this versatility. The digital viewfinder is pretty good but I'd like a true optical viewfinder as found on true SLRs much better. It can be set on P, S, A, & M, all good. I want a camera that'll allow making of good, sharp 16X20 or larger prints. Whether this camera is that good remains to be seen as I haven't made any prints from it yet. I think this camera is not really made by Leica but just badge engineered from another manufacturer in Japan to jump into the market as a stop gap until Leica can make its own camera. But, I would highly recommend it to the advanced amateur photographer. It's a pleasure and fun to use. It can be set to 2,5,8, or 10 megapixels. You can also set the ASA speed you want to use within a wide range. I've used only ASA 200 so far. The lower required megapixels, the more shots you can put on the memory card. The rechargable batteries are expensive and not readily available--about $100 each and a 2GB SD memory card will cost about $65 retail. It takes only the SD memory card, available in several different capacities.
