Its new "old stock" of course fits and does its thing as its supposed to, but hopefully it will last a long time. Since its manufacturing date, plastic tends to lose its durability. we'll see what happens several years from now if the plastic knob hasn't broken or the imbedded nut broke loose from the plastic.

A 'passing' product
Part number was confirmed as being the right one. However had an issue plugging the female mower plug fitting the prongs on the back of new switch. Prongs were tighter on switch then old switch. I had to forcebly push switch prongs into plug. It caused prongs to slightly angle apart, be sure they were grouped to tightly. They had same configuration as my old switch. I have other wiring issues to solve. I did notify Oregon retailer about it.

So far so good, works as it should, restored the timing of dryer.
