Great addition.
Although this case does not supply the protection of my previous case, that is not why I bought it...rather I bought it for the convenience of having a keyboard. It is fully functional and since it does not require anything other than the tablet to function, it is easy to use.

Great Replacement, Good as OEM.
In one of my past periods of employment I was a quality control manager for a mirror (glass only) manufacturer for approximately ten years. In that role, not only did I ensure the quality of the mirror but was also involved in the design, construction, and use of the end product with the tier two suppliers and the vehicle manufacturer. Everything about this product is comparable to an OEM installation. The fit and finish was excellent, and looked great after installation. My only suggestion, which is not necessarily the vendor's responsibility, would be to include vehicle specific installation instructions so that purchasers without prior knowledge of how to do so can accomplish the installation successfully. I know "everyone" will say just go to YouTube, but generic videos covering a range of model years just doesn't do it as instructional information.
