its worth it
3 of 4 found this helpful it works perfect for pokemon games only for oras and X and Y
but I should warn others that you should not use it alot on pokemon on the same day
because it can corrupt your game if you cheat a lot of pokemon all at once
some pokemon that you get through this won't be able to be traded one of these pokemon
is arceus because its a special pokemon, special pokemon can't be traded you can only transfer it to pokebank
also some legendaries,special event pokemon and some other pokemon will also not be allowed to be traded
if the game reads that pokemon as hacked pokemon but you can still transfer all these hacked pokemon and special events to pokebank
getting items will not end up corrupting your game
when you use this the first time you should watch a tutorial on youtube how to work with it
because its not so easy as you think
if it says "no local content available" when you put your pokemon X,Y,ORAS in it you need to create a savefile only one time and give it the same name as your the game that you are using only then you will be able to use cheats
and after you have written the cheats into the savefile the next time you put in the same cardridge in it, it will back up automaticly
also if the screen flashes wait a bit or just blow into the powersave
by doing this the screen will act normal the next time you put your cartridge in it
it worked for me when the screen began to flash
this one and the pro version are worth it and cheap
if you play pokemon Y,X or oras than you should buy it if you want to complete the whole pokedex
only 721 pokemons are avaiable including shinies, some of the events that you may have missed
shiny charm and oval charm, masterballs and other items
all pokemon that you get through this are level 10 with hidden power
the iv's,ev's,gender,abilities and natures are random
the location can also be random I think
does not work on pokemon sun and moon yet
but I hope that there will be a update in the future

works perfect for a new 3DS
if you have a hacked new 3DS and you want to record the sound from it aswell then this cable will be useful because it gives you the sound from your hacked new 3DS that you didn't had before you bought this
