Super travel camera
12 of 12 found this helpful Had been using and enjoying a Sony RX100 M2 for several years until it was lost. I balked at the price, but bought the Canon mostly because it cost less than the new RX100 and RX100's zoom is significantly less. This camera easily exceeds the Sony in picture quality and low light capability. I am truly a casual photographer who uses it mostly on travel. However, the speed, sharpness and color are a quantum improvement over the M2's. The anti-shake/blur feature is especially effective and I've had acceptable results with shots down to about 1/10 sec shutter speed. What I don't like: the battery drains after too few pictures (about 160 for me), the menu is too easily called up, and I have a tendency to hit the power button when putting the camera into my holster. All in all, a superb camera.

Great running shoe
Have worn the 1000 series for years and find it the most comfortable running shoe. Works well with my low arches.

Excellent thin and light
Liked this latpop well enough to buy a second one recently for our daughter attending college. The 13 inch screen and 4.4 pound form factor are near-optimal blend of power, usability and portability. Nice light weight with excellent performance with the P7350 duo core processor. All the key features needed: Bright, HD screen, 3 GB memory, usual outstanding Lenovo keyboard, responsive touch pad. Switchable discrete 3D graphics, DVD writer, memory card reader, HDMI out and built-in camera. Stays quiet and cool-running, even plugged in. Veriface security software actually works well. Have had for almost two years with no hardware problems. Some minor weaknesses: battery life is good but not great - about 3 hours using the integrated graphics; placement of home/end/delete and insert keys could be better; hard drive is only 5400 RPM; glossy surfaces are a fingerprint magnet. Overall, an excellent portable computing device.
It's unfortunate Lenovo has removed the discrete 3D graphics and DVD writer on the U350 replacement models instead of building on the U330's winning combination.
