great upgrade
Don't waste your money on the thinner versions. These are quite heavy and should last a lifetime for me. Of course I am 64 y.o.

Just okay
Usually any Bessey clamp I've tried is great. Not this one. Takes way to much effort to clamp effectively. Maybe more flex in the body or softer pads might help.
