Worth the money

I was skeptical at first that this product would make a big difference in arrow preparation. I was wrong. No matter how careful I am with my arrow saw, I still sometimes get angled cuts. This product makes sure that each cut is square and that inserts are uniform. It is quick and easy to use.

Pleasantly surprised by this harp.

I got my Blue Midnight in the key of F a few days ago, and after playing it for a few practice sessions, I can say that I am very pleased with this harp. It has a bright, clear, tone--very pure--and came right out of the box in tune and sounding great. Very responsive, and easy to bend notes, it feels very comfortable to play. I am no pro, but I do have a pretty large assortment of harmonicas to compare the Blue Midnight to. While it is not quite a Special 20, it has a similar profile and I do like it better than the several Big River Harps I own. For me it is much more airtight than the Big River also, and for that matter more airtight than the Suzuki Bluesmasters I have had. Every player is different, and harps fit people differently, but this one seems to fit me well. My only criticism is that it is not loud like a Marine Band or a Special 20, but it is loud enough for practice. I have no idea if this harp is durable enough for professional work, but it sure does sound good. I will likely buy a few more for practice.

Fender Blues Deluxe Harmonica, Key of F

Not bad.

I bought a Fender Blues Deluxe in the key of F, which can be a problematic key for many brands of harmonicas. After playing it for a few practice sessions, I can say that I am very pleased with this harp. It has a bright, clear, tone--very pure--and came right out of the box in tune and sounding great. Very responsive, and easy to bend notes, it feels very comfortable to play. I am no pro, but I do have a pretty large assortment of harmonicas to compare the Blues Deluxe to. Iit is definitely not as airtight as a Special 20, but is similar in profile and airtightness to the Lee Oskars I have owned, which for me is just okay. Every player is different, and harps fit people differently, but this one seems to fit me well. My only criticism is that it is not loud like a Marine Band or a Special 20, but it is loud enough for practice. I have no idea if this harp is durable enough for professional work, but it does sound pretty good.
