Noise Reduction Ear Muffs

I bought these for shooting. I have not done that yet. I have used them with my grass trimmer, chain saw, wood splitter and tractor to compare them to a 20 year pair I currently have. They are much better than the old pair. These are comfortable to wear, adjustable and reduce the decibels of the loud noise. One has to understand noise reduction earmuffs. You do not go into a world of absolutely no sound. Yes, you can hear people talk. Yes, some sounds appear to be amplified such as when I was walking on gravel. They are meant to reduce the loud high decibel sounds. For the price I am very happy with the product. I hope they last as long as my other ear muffs have. When I do get a chance to use these for shooting I will give an update.

It works

The water inlet valve for my ice maker would intermittently make a chattering noise when it was filling the ice tray. I decided to replace the water valve. This new one works. But, it makes a much louder noise when the valve is operated. I reinstalled the original valve. I will put up with the intermittent chatter. I would recommend a OEM product. The valve is just a solenoid. It should not make any noise.

Battery Life

It is just a battery. There is not much choice in replacement batteries. I just wish it would last longer. It works no different than the previous batteries I have used.
