This drone flys very well , I use it with an android tablet instead of a cell phone, there is a second or two latency in the picture but it is clear and the color is reasonable. I have not been able to do a flip but I bought it primarily to take pictures and video ,all in all if you take time to practice and work into the learning curve it is surprisingly easy to fly. The hover feature saved my bacon a few times. I would recommend this as a starter drone or a fun toy.
