Top of the Range
This is one of the best if not the best monopod you can buy. Not cheap, but the build quality says it all. The versatility of the pod is excellent and I feel that you can almost get away with using this instead of a tripod for most cases.
The one critisim I have is that it is slightly on the heavy side, but for the build quality that you get it says it all. An excellent kit with all the bits you will ever need and an excellent carry bag as well. Throw in a six warrenty and what else do you need. If in doubt look up the reviews on this cracking piece of kit, and I think that you will be convinced.

Good things do come in small packages
This is an excellent light weight camera. It is small but the results you get are top knotch, it is a pro camera with results to match. But can be used on fully automatic,on a point and shoot if needed. It is full of alternative settings if you wish to use it as a pro. Full facilities for xlr mic fitting if needed, but one word of warning here (a minor point) when using a shotgun mic, watch out for it appearing in the corner of the picture if you are not careful. Up till now I have always used Sony Camcorders, but this Canon camera has certainly turned my head. For a full report on this camera go onto youtube and will see what I mean. I would also say at this point I am not a professional but a keen user. Any of this XA range are of the best.
