4 shelf is better than three
1 of 1 found this helpful It is a little fragile and I won’t put heavy things on the top but four shelving system is more than three. It is also easy to access the tank in case it needs some maintenance

An inexpensive alternative to get wide angle and NOT fisheye. it is heavy but it is removable so you dont have to keep it on all the time. One piece of advice, the barrel may be seen at the wide end of your camera so get the LARGEST 58 mm filter size and use a stepdown ring to achieve less barrel, but sometimes it does add a nice "tube" effect to your images & video. very good quality construction, probably a couple of good elements. without a hood, i can see some flare, just have better technique

Fun Camera but not as good as Nikon V1 for speed or Sony nex 6 for EVF
0 of 2 found this helpful You can now get this camera on ebay for a good price and it is a good value, but i would be unhappy if i paid retail. Firstly, the Picture quality is excellent and pictures of people are pleasing. 2ndly: Artsy stuff: i like selective color for effects but they need to have skin tone/facial features in addition to red, yellow and blue, which you can take live or post processing in camera (nice!). The LCD is nice and flips out(i hardly ever need to) BUT it washes out in sunlight: every camera NEEDS and EVF. So for mirrorless, the sony nex6 makes the nx300 way better than this for composing a picture, before taking the picture. I only have the 20-50mm lens, so in daylight this is plenty fast lens because the nx300 can do up to 1/6000 shutter speed for freezing action. The 1.8 lens may be fast and good quality pix, but for action the Buffer is way to anemic (20mp setting) and the buffer clearing times are horrendously way to slow for fast moving kids. There is a burst setting that takes about 30 5mp pictures but then you have to wait so so long for the buffer to clear and the camera to be responsive again. The Nikon V1 which i own is much better at capturing fast moving kids. Lastly, i am shocked by the nx300 responsiveness of the cpu and the screen considering the samsung s4/s5 are so nice to touch and feel. The nx300 screen is like and old iphone 3gs and makes me feel that the CPU is underpowered for what this camera is supposed to do, which makes me feel the camera is overall: sluggish, which is OK for ebay prices but not for retail prices. However, the menus is classic samsung and works much better than the sony menus system, However alot of the settings are redundant and some not always available on all menus: for instance, you can only digitally zoom on the lens in the iFn mode, but not the others. The Burst mode is not available in the smart/auto settings. I miss the multiple composition mode of the latest smartphone: like a kid jumping and you see the intermediate shots of the entire jump. The wifi connectivity is great but the next generation will be better. In the end, this is a glorified S4/S5 smartphone that can just take better quality pictures. It lacks a EVF so tracking a kid on a sunny day can be hit or miss. Only get this at current ebay prices
