No more headaches but...
I have migraines and was waking up with neck and head pain daily with my old memory foam pillow. This pillow is adjustable so I was able to remove some foam to make it the right height for proper head support and spine alignment. It's soft yet supportive. The memory foam doesn't clump together like in my old pillow, so there's no fluffing it up in the middle of the night every time you change positions - it just instantly pops back into shape. I've had it for a month now and there's no sign that it will go flat. It's the best pillow I've ever owned.
So why am I not giving 5 stars? The pillow arrives with a very strong odor from the off-gassing of the memory foam. I says the smell will dissipate over 2-3 weeks and suggests putting it in the dryer with a dryer sheet. I tried this - doesn't work. I tried airing it out outdoors - doesn't work. One thing that helped was compressing as much air as possible out and letting fresh air in that way. I did this several times a day every day for the first week. The smell is now greatly reduced but it's still there. I'm hoping it will finally go with time. If the pillow wasn't so comfortable and helpful in reducing my pain, the smell would have been a deal breaker.
