No more cords or wires.
Pro:
No more cord connected to my MacBook
Adapter charges in about 90 minutes
Sound is as good as the direct wire. I switched back and forth several times to test the music.
Adapter will last about 4 hours on full charge. I only tried this once to see if it lasted.
Snaps in just like the manufacturers cable.
Have not tested the microphone yet. Use this mainly for music.

New lower Case - exact fit
This case was the exact same lower case model that was on the ACER laptop I needed to repair. I was worried that it would be different, but the vendor provided a brand new perfect fit. The old case was broken at the charging port and left monitor hinge so I could not charge my laptop. The case shipped quickly and I now my laptop is almost like new. Oh, for those who try this, it is easier to remove the old serial number and windows key stickers from the old case if you use a hair dryer to heat them up. I decided to stick them under the hard drive inside the case. Accessible, but not outside where they would probably fall off, as the old glue would not re-stick well enough.
