    I am sure the item left the seller as described but the item was not packaged well at all. The seller shipped the item quickly and it arrived in a timely manner. One layer of thin bubble wrap and floating loose in a pasteboard box is not the way to ship electronic items. The seller worked with me on the price and I did not have a problem the the shipping cost of $39.98. The vintage cassette deck was damaged during shipping and I was bummed when I opened the box and found loose pieces in the box

Inexpensive but not a good value
All rails and rack and pinion gears are made of plastic not metal. The adjustments are not precision and the unit could not really support my canon 70d with a 35-135 LENS MOUNTED. Spend more and purchase an all metal unit, your macro photos demand precision focus control.

2 years later and still working well, hope I didn't just jinx myself!
Initial impressions only in this review because it has only been less than 100 miles on the vehicle since the install. Build quality is good, price is good, easy fit and smooth installation. The unit works like the original. What i can not speak to is long term durability because i just installed it. Hopefully i get several years or more service from it but of course i won't know that for some time yet. Based on the price and direct fit i would recommend giving it a try but can not yet speak to longtime durability. Update after 2 years the compressor is still working well on my vehicle!
