Have been trying to return these

We are very dissatisfied with these tumblers. Last night I tried to start a return but the eBay website was not working properly. Everything was good about these - price, size, seller sent them quickly. The problem is they make water taste like metal (or aluminum). We did not notice this at first, but this weekend, despite thorough cleaning after the first taste of metal, the water was terrible. We would like to return them, we would much rather pay more and not have the foul taste.
