Nice upgrade
Installed this unit with a total scan transducer and all seems to be working together fine, everything so far seems to be sandy bottom and very little structure and vegetation but have not learned all the fine tuning yet.
Much easier to use than my previous gen 2 that had also had structure scan as well but during a change over to another boat I didn't even install the structure transducer as it never seemed worthwhile.
With the gen 3 everything that took many button pushes to accomplish is now only one or two touches and your there. I find the tide screen a great addition as well

Better than the new replacement
3 of 3 found this helpful This older version of the KitchenAid shredder is way better than the newer (safer) version. Even though used they cost about double of the new version they are still worth it. Thank you ebay for making finding one possible.

It makes a good quality cannon ball sinker
works as advertised, would buy again
