The best knife I've ever had
The best knife I've ever had. The one I had used every day since 1989 was confiscated by TSA when accidentally placed in a carry-on bag. This one was bought to replace it, and it's every bit as good as the one I lost. Now I'm set for another 30 years.

More to offer than the typical drawing book
This artist has something that is unique and rare, and he addresses the process, the materials, and the "bigger picture" of artmaking. I wouldn't recommend it for absolute beginners, but for intermediate or advanced artists, this is definitely one you should have on your shelf.

Highly recommended!
Beautiful quality and just the exact nib that I love. Hero's fude nib is 55-degree, not as long and extreme as Jinhao's 40-degree, so it's easier to write many different ways with the Hero. This pen is absolutely solid quality. The one area that's less than Jinhao is the converter, which isn't as good--but it's a universal size, so just replace it with a Jinhao converter when you need to. HIghly recommended.
