Activision's latest fail: Not worth the money.
1 of 2 found this helpful After Black Ops II came out, I was looking forward to this latest installment of the Call of Duty series. I was very disappointed when I went to play it however. Sure, the campaign is fantastic! Graphics are beautiful when played on an HD television or with an HDMI cord. Aliens (which took the place of zombies in BO1/BO2) is another great thing about this game which I enjoyed more than I thought I would as I am normally a muliplayer person. That is why I tried out the game at first and boy was I really let down when I started the multiplayer.
Cons of Multiplayer:
-Graphics are TOO good! Yes, I am impressed with them, BUT, it makes it very difficult to distinguish enemy players from the terrain just like back in Black Ops I or even from the Modern Warfare series. You have to practically be feet away from someone to even tell that they are there on some of the maps.
-Maps are large. Too large. For certain objective based games it is good, but there are many maps that are just too big for a 6v6 or even less. If you are a close quarters type of player this is going to be a pain for you to get used to.
-Limited Hardcore games. There is maybe a handful of games in this game mode.
-Easily hacked. I for one do not enjoy being thrown into a modded lobby. It isn't enjoyable at all and ruins the fun of the game for those who wish to play it how it was meant to play.
-Lag. Lag, lag, lag. If you do not have the greatest internet, this is all that you will get. And, if someone with this type of connection is host and you have a perfect connection, you will still lag no matter what since there are no dedicated servers.
Hopefully, with the upcoming Call of Duty, these will be adjusted though do not get your hopes up. It would be wise to rent/borrow the game first before wasting your money.

Headset is fantastic, transmitter not so much...
1 of 1 found this helpful Everything appears to be functional with the headset itself and is definitely a step up from the first gen 700’s I have but when trying to pair with my console or performing an update via my computer the transmitter isn’t registering on either.
