Nice kit

This kit is unobtainable in the U.S. I've had it on back order from several shops for about a year & no one can get it. I had to go out of country (Latvia?) & had it in less than 30 days. Zvezda makes beautiful kits with very fine detail. I already built the -8 version & it builds like a dream. Pics of the -8 shown

OEM battery - a little more juice

These batteries typically last two years. I got tired of having to replace them in the case, so this time I drilled holes in the case for the wires to exit, soldered them to the battery terminals & to the battery & taped it to the outside of the case. No more cracking open the case to replace a battery. Just cut the old one off & solder a new one on. New battery shown taped to ipod in pic. It says Apple on it so I'm assuming it is an OEM battery. Maybe it'll last longer than the last three I've installed.
