Excellent product too small for me
It's a great product that was for me far too small. I particularly like the extra zippered compartment that can hold money credit cards and other small items.

Bright with a good light angle, Easy to Mount
2 of 2 found this helpful The NiteRidere Solas 250 is very bright, day or night, and its ability to adjust brightness allows for riding with groups, to avoid blinding the rider(s) behind you.
It's true that the rubbery piece that acts as a shield to dust and water needs to be improved as the fit doesn't feel right, requiring a couple of visible checks to be sure that it was placed correctly.
Also, the clip on its back along with the rubber pressure mount allows for flexible fitting, though when clipped to a bag it tends to aim in a downward direction which is sub-optimal.
It's wide angle visibility, where the light fall off can be critical, is very adequate especially when compared to other units presently on the market, though it can be improved. Still the light fall off from sub-optimal placement is acceptable to me.
I can't speak for its longevity as I've only used it for about 6 hours, so far (times two as I have more than one and had them on my wife's bicycle too during these rides).
As to its ability to hold a charge, I bought 4, keeping one for each bicycle (for the wife) as an extra unit just in case so that shouldn't be an issue with me. Still, the rides were about 3 hours each and it kept the charge, as the maximum output, for the entire time. I charged the units on a fast charger until the red light turned blue.
I'm actually not a fan of the rechargeable lights. I would rather use high quality, double A rechargeable batteries, keeping an extra set or two, and changing the battery when needed since this method is still better for the environment, fast (no wait for a charger) and, in an emergency, double A batteries are everywhere.
