Not exactly what it"s described to be
1 of 1 found this helpful It says 9" drop from the top of the shank, but from the top of the shank to the top of my ball is 5 1/2", and I needed about 7 1/2" and I am in the very bottom hole with the bottom bolt. I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 4X4 with factory tow package and the camper special package which makes the back of my truck sit very high in the rear. This is the biggest drop they have, so It is going to have to do. With my trailer level the inside of the coupler measures 18" and with the 90-02-4400 shank the top of my ball is at a height of 20" and I can't get any lower. Hope this info helps.

It works
The new spring with the kit didn't match the original it was bigger in diameter and would not work with the spring ends you have to use from the original spring, so I had to use the old spring; otherwise everything else seemed correct.

Easy transition
1 of 1 found this helpful Original remote from Hampton Bay needed those little A23 batteries. Don't know why, but I only use this fan a few times a YEAR. Every time I would go to turn the fan on the battery was dead. I think the remote was defective and was draining the battery. That's why I decided to try this one. I have used it 3 times in the couple of weeks I've had it and so far the 9Volt battery that this one needs is still alive. This remote is different from this one, but is compatible with my fan and less than half the price.
