Just buy it!
Love this setup. Small, portable, plug and play... The fact that you can plug them into each other and charge them as one is a game changer as well.

Nice and compact, good for backup use.
3 of 3 found this helpful I've only had it a short time, but it's pretty straight forward and I like that the 'guts' of the unit are tucked away under the dash. I won't be using it often, mostly as a backup when off roading in case others don't have an amateur radio license. Heard a few people on it so far, haven't done any communicating, just listening. Using a Mopar antenna kit in my Jeep Wrangler JK along with it.

Exactly what I needed!
Great product, everything you need (minus a radio) to install in your JK. Easy to follow instructions, had this done quickly with very little hassle. Seems to work well, picked up a couple truckers, haven't had much other experience with it yet. Bought mostly for off road communications when people don't have their amateur radio license. Also recommend the Cobra 75 to pair up with it in the Jeep. Yes, you can mix and match your own setup for a little less money, but for people like me who just want to buy a kit and go for a little more, it's worth it.
