Defective on Arrival
3 of 3 found this helpful Two fans were exactly alike and both defective. Fan brackets that mount the motor are tack welded one half inch off center making the fan blade hit and stop on the fan housing. I bent the brackets to provide the required spacing. The alternative would have been to siccors off a half inch from the tips of the blades but I want to return these fans if the motor gives out within the month. So Far...both going strong.
I don't know how quality control can fail so miserably and obviously on these fans, but it has. Given the cost and the ease of the fix and the fear that more expensive models especially of what looks like the very same fan: I'd buy them again while laughing at their quality.
