It works!
Does what it was designed to do, split a signal on a DirecTV satellite box that has too few output connectors. This was needed after DirecTV made an arbitrary announced determination that either my 52 inch Sony Bravia didn't have an updated industry chip to prevent recording shows or something was not right. I don't even own a DVR and with DirecTV you need their proprietary DVR. I had a regular DVD player and an old VHS Tape player connected. One day there was no programming at all just a message on the screen. They forced me to disconnect HDMI, High Definition, for which I was paying an extra $10.00 per month and downgraded me to a component cable setup eliminating the ability to support one device my old VHS Tape player.
