Real spinner mechanism that works freely

These do exactly as advertised, allow the flights to spin freely in the air, and after imbedding in the board. It is interesting to see them spin slightly after impact. The threads are well formed, tight connection to the brass body. The tail piece 'flight cuts' are long and snug on the flights, enough so that you need to be careful trying to install the flights without crumpling the points. Use a razor blade to open the cuts and smooth the inside surfaces. In truth, I can't tell any difference in accuracy with these installed, so 'no news is good news'.

The only clips that fit Ruger Redhawk 45LC/45ACP.

These are the only moon clips that fit Ruger Redhawk 45LC/45ACP. Ruger did not machine their cylinder the same as Colt or S&W, so clips for them will NOT fit Ruger unless you do additional machining on the cylinder. I recommend you have that machining done, so you could use both styles of moon clips.

the latest and greatest from CREE, with a little know user tip.

This new XM-L is supposed to be the brightest of the CREE line, with the plus of using less current than previous configurations to do so, resulting in longer run time even at higher lumen output. However, in direct test between XPG and this XM-L, there is little noticeable difference in brightness, maybe a slight bias in its favor. The test used two identical SolarForce L series flashlights, with identical batteries fully charged in an XTRA VC4 charger, and different bulbs in each. What users need to know is that lumen output is highly related to the battery used. A high mAh 3.7v 18650 gives a noticeable better light output than even a pair of high mAh 3.7v 16340 batteries. Visible output appears not to depend on voltage, but rather on current reserve, which surprised me when I ran the tests. Two 16340's produce 7.4v, yet are not as bright as one 18650 at 3.7v. The same holds true for other CREE versions, such as the XPG and even older models. Thus, upgrade your batteries to good 18650 and get a boost in brightness without changing bulbs.
