This will be a classic for kids someday!
This movie is one of those that not every kid will have seen but when they do it will become a favorite forever. I have watched it so many times already with my 6 and 4 year old and it never gets old. The story line is so sweet and really is about taking care of creatures big and small in this world and loving everyone no matter what their differences may be. Kids wont get that right away, but I do love the simple story line mixing fantasy with real world events. It is unusual I think to have a little boy playing such a sweet role in a movie about fairies essentially rather than a girl. My 4 year old son is the one who requests to view this the most and I think it is because the lead is a boy but still a hero to some degree.The other two additions to this movie are just as great. I know sometimes part 2 and 3 and so on are over done and not as good, but they really did a fabulous job with this one and each one is just as great as the one before. I find myself walking lightly in our garden sometimes thinking.....what if!!!!! You can't go wrong with this movie if you ask me, it has real life, fantasy, make believe and a heart warming story to boot. Don't bother renting it, just buy it because you will end up searching the web to purchase it anyway!!!
