    eBay used to be a great platform for selling personal unwanted items. However, it seems that eBay UK aspires to be a business only marketplace. In 2025 a series of mandatory changes were forced upon private sellers, all of which result in a worse experience for both sellers and buyers. I’m still hopeful that one day eBay will listen to the feedback from the community and rollback these recent changes which are causing many to leave the platform.
