Best Tripod For A Scope

Finally splurged for a decent spotting scope and wanted a SUBSTANTIAL tripod that won't shake too much in the wind. Looked at dozens of scopes and all were spindly for the sake of less weight. Good for cameras, but not great for mounting a scope. Notice the width of the legs on this unit. Sturdy! The scope attaches via the common screw-in method. The central pole cranks up and down easily. All adjustable joints clamp down once in place for a stable base. Only negative I've noticed is the lack of a spreader for the legs. That would allow you to splay all 3 legs at once. As it is I must set each leg separately. Not huge, but a touch I wish they had included.

Not a COVID brain fog cure.

COVID left me with brain fog. A friend recommended this supplement as an aid to cognitive function. Can't say what else it might possibly do, but it is not a cure for brain fog. To be completely fair, I stayed with it for 2 months. That seemed plenty log for it to make a noticeable difference. And it did not.

With optics, you truly get what you pay for.

Like many optics companies, Nikon has anywhere from near junk that is pretty inexpensive to really serious high quality optics. Their line has changed over the years, but their quality remains competitive on a worldwide basis.
