Keeping vehicle batteries charged

All new vehicles place a drain on the battery system and if a vehicle is not driven much the battery goes down and won't start the vehicle. Getting tired of dragging out the jump start battery I found this and it is keeping the battery up so now no problem getting a good fast start. I had a down battery on the ranch tractor and put this on for a day and the tractor started right up no problems. It's back on the vehicle now but I can see a couple more of these in the future to keep the less used equipment batteries charged. Saves the environment from getting still usable batteries to the recycle and saves money in that the batteries will last longer.

Great replacement for ageing modem

My old QWEST modem was showing signs of age at least it seemed so plus it was no longer supported by Century Link. I did a search on their site and this was one of the recommended units. It came even with their name on it and set up was very easy. The hardest part was getting my log book so I could fill in the required passwords and routing. I do recommend at least printing the set up while using the old modem so you have something to refer to as there is no manual with this modem. That sheet plus a photo copy of the data plate under it is now in my IT log book. I will order another one just to have a spare just in case as things do fail.
