Why I purchased this camera outfit
3 of 3 found this helpful When I finally decided to get a digital cam I went first to Consumer's Reports Online edition and read up on features, reliabiity, frequency of repair etc. They recommended this model and it fit in my price range. I was very happy to find a camera, goodie package and printer dock for what Consumers said I would pay for the camera alone. Of course, don't forget that the Camera and Printer Dock are refurbished, which helps account for the price from the dealer I chose. I have a full year new camera guaranty/warranty on camera and dock from the manufacturer so I don't feel I was cheated in any way - in fact it's more likely a person looked over and tested this product instead of just a computerized QC check.
I enjoy using the camera, it isn't a mini thing you can hardly hold without putting your finger over the lens, it's not huge and it takes pretty good shots. I'm no professional, but taking photos of the cat, my knitting projects and the gorgeous area where we live are now easy and enjoyable. No more waiting for developing! The camera self adjusts for the setting but would allow me to use PASM settings if I ever decided to be adventurous.
Overall, I feel I did well for myself on this purchase.

Hard to Find Elsewhere
My husband is addicted to pumpkin spice. So, I get this for him and he's happy. Amazing the things one does for love, huh? You cannot find this stuff in the market and the larger sizes in the dairy case are not available all year.
