Just brilliant
I discovered this machine about 15 years ago. I think they may have been discontinued so I am buying another while I can. Just brilliant. Mine has traveled the world with me and is the first thing I pack. The best way to make coffee and does it with an electric power source. The standard Italian version of this type of machine is heated on an electric stove top or a gas burner - sources that aren't always available. I usually manage to find a power source somewhere. Even if I'm camping in a non-powered campsite the toilet/shower block will always have a power point. I have even been known to sneak it into McDonalds in a shopping bag. Sit down the back, plug it in, buy a muffin and wait for that familiar percolating sound. The "brew quickly" comment depends on the voltage of the country. The 100v power source in Japan can make it a bit slow. Worth the wait though.
