Nice beginner's book
I'm a watercolorist and wanted try pastels for a change in mediums. This book is a good starting point for anyone wanting to venture into this medium. It covers several key points regarding different types of pastels, paper, etc.
I would have liked it to go further regarding technical use for different effects, cool tips, etc. Overall, this book was a good value.
