Nice combo!
The reel is super smooth and casts great with 12lb monofilament. I am sure it will do just as well with braid or heavier mono if you don't overfill the spool. I also like that it doesn't come spooled with some unknown quality line to remove. If you want a ready to go rig, go to a big box store and hope you don't hook a 10 pounder with the junk line they put on it! Drag adjustment is easy, and the 6.2:1 retrieve will spoil you if you have been using a 5:1. The rod seems a bit stiff for medium action rating, but is well balanced for the reel. My only complaint is the way the rod tip is attached . It is not very smooth, and your line wants to hang on it in some situations, but it is manageable. My overall rating for this combo is 4 stars, or A minus.

Excellent product
Great adhesion, good heat resistance. Way better than anything Permatex has to offer.

Could be better
Rears might require modifying the factory plastic, fronts are fine, no drilling required. I didn't use the rear ones because I couldn't figure out what would be best and look good. No instructions are provided.
