Favorite author whose books are out of print
This particular series features Cat Caliban as an aspiring detective, who feels that she has the skills needed for this new venture, having raised three children to adulthood. She is witty and slightly profane, but those of us who are also of her age and experience can relate, LOL. Wish I could find books 5 & 6 of the series. 7 & 8 are still in print...

Coloring for Grown-ups
What I like about this little book is:
1) the designs are varied and full of natural and restful curves, but not too small (good for us oldies who have to squint),
2) there is a message with each one, which can be used as affirmative meditation along with the coloring process--which is good for stilling the inner voice trying to dis the exercise in favor of chores! Taking care of spirit is also a chore that needs regular attention.
Unlike many of the (gorgeous) coloring books out there, this one is neither too simple nor overwhelmingly complex, so it is a good starting point for folks just getting back into coloring.
