Not a transparent add. 1st photo Ebay purchase, 2nd photo my original slicer
3 of 3 found this helpful The add did not state that the housing was cracked. My old slicer was cracked and that is why I ordered this one. I didn't send it back because I figured when my current slicer finally broke to the point that I could not use it, at least I would have time to search for yet another. I was disappointed because most of the adds stated that theirs was cracked and that is why I purchased this one. I guess the old adage is true it sounded too good to be true, so it wasn't true.
