A highly enjoyable collection of 1960's French pop songs from one of France's best.
A very delightful collection of 1960's French pop songs by the beautiful and highly talented France Gall. Even if you do not understand the lyrics, the songs will stir your emotions and make you wish you spoke French. While this collection focuses on the 1960's era, Gall's career spanned decades and yielded many more hit songs. This collection is a wonderful first step into the world of France Gall. It will leave you with a smile and a desire to hear more from this legendary singer.

Reasonably priced Target era CD.
Great sounding Target era CD. Early Japanese CD's made for the US market are the most reasonably priced way to get un-remastered flat transfers. Snatch them up while they are still relatively available and affordable.

1 of 1 found this helpful The 1970's are often reduced to stereotypical images of tacky disco-balls illuminating dance floors filled with bell-bottom wearing people sporting really bad haircuts. But it was more than that, much more. This collection, along with the other 24 volumes in this series demonstrate that this was a very diverse decade. While you may wonder how some of these songs ever became hits, the majority of the songs in this collection are a pleasure to hear again, and in some cases hear for the first time. This particular collection contains the classic rock favorite "Stuck in the middle with you" by Stealers Wheel. The majority of the songs on this CD were originally released in 1973. Even if you were not around when these songs were first released, they serve as the perfect time capsule for this period in history. So please, please, please do not rely on "That 70's Show" to get an idea of what the 1970's were like. Instead, pick up one, or a couple of these CD's and get a real feel of what the 70's were all about.
