A fundamental book about elements that complements Isaac Asimov's work perfectly, with minimal duplication.
Brings back stuff about chemistry that I had long ago forgotten, or never knew in the first place. An excellent read, far more interesting reading than a text book. The only way this book could have been better is to have covered the individual discoveries of each element by it's discoverer, and that would have meant many more pages (and therefore more expensive).
My best book purchase this year.

Wash Machine Hose set
The quality is good and the price was reasonable. The passages are a little smaller than conventional hoses, so, although I did not check fill time, I believe fill might take a little longer.

South Dakota DeLorme Atlas
DeLorme atlases are the Best. Have used them for years, and they suit my purposes perfectly.
