Any Outkast fan should have this album, and if this is the only pressing available, get it. I've only listened to The Love Below so far, and it sounds great on wax. Definitely the best I've ever heard it. But based on the remastering efforts on some of their other projects, I'm curious to hear to what else can be done to enhance this sound as well.
My only real issue is that the packaging looks and feels cheap. The back sleeve popped open when I tried to put a record back in. Out of all of the albums that may deserve that type of treatment, this is not one of them. This is Grammy award winning masterpiece, and the packaging is light, flimsy, and broken, with paper sleeves. Before I took the plastic off, I could see the LPs popping out of the sleeves, almost as if they were stuffed in. More space, a sturdier gatefold, and poly lined inner sleeves would be appreciated for 4 LPs.
In summary, grateful to have a copy of this album on vinyl. Hoping for an improved re-release in the future.
