I wanted a large tablet that was lightweight, portable, and had beefy enough hardware to do all the things I needed to do. I have never found anything that satisfies my requirements as well as Dell's XPS 18. I do all my eBay posts using mine, and it's set up and permanently plugged in and on in my living room. This will be my FOURTH purchase of an XPS 18, one I gave to my daughter, one was "left" with my ex-wife. Those are the i3's, I have one i5 that I use constantly and I just tragically dropped an HP Slate 17 somehow slide off my kitchen counter and the screen smashed, so I'm replacing it with this. I have no problem with Android, really dug the Slate, but FORGET trying to upgrade from one version of Android to the next newer version, Windows doesn't have that issue. One word of warning, the plastic legs / stand on the XPS WILL BREAK, seems like a small price to pay. Speed / storage space, and portability make this one the best thing since sliced bread in my book, and I've yet to find anything comparable - believe me, I've looked. I network mine, and share it out, use VNC to remote desktop to it from my Samsung tablet. The size makes it easy for this old man to see what I'm doing, can pinch and zoom in on websites or when reading. The wireless has worked flawlessly, I'd have to look to see if this has an ethernet port, somehow, I don't think it does .... consistently given high marks from everyone that owns one, an outstanding product, clearly less cumbersome than even Dell's other All-In-Ones, or any other manufacturers. Buy the metal stand.
