Not what was expected.
3 of 3 found this helpful I've been using quite a bit of rust converter this summer so I ordered this Rustex. There is a huge difference, which I wasn't aware at the time, between this and the other rust converters. It is not a converter/primer. The product description was exactly like the other products I had been using, except it's not a primer. You have to apply this product and after it's dried you have to wipe the powder off before applying a separate primer. You also run the risk of it raining before you apply the primer, so you're back to rust again. I waited days for a reply from the supplier about my question - Is this product the same as the other two products I've been using? I never received a reply from them and I didn't want to wait any longer for an answer. There's only so many good days to paint in a season around here. Anyway, big mistake. Now I'm left with well over one gallon of the Rustex.

No Go
2 of 2 found this helpful It must take a hurricane to get it to spin. I tried tightening it down lightly and even sprayed it with WD40. It no go. Maybe you have to stand there and spin it manually?
