Versatile and accurate
2 of 2 found this helpful I tested this scale against a couple of others I have through 10 pounds and found it to be very accurate in this range. It is of sturdy construction, the display is bright and has large numerals, and having the display connected by a cord makes weighing large packages a breeze. I probably will never use the flip-up package holders, but it is nice to have them just in case. I highly recommend this for an office or someone who sells on ebay.

Really glad I bought this
I have a ton of old photos I want to digitize and then shred, like two trunks worth! I have another scanner that would do an acceptable job, but I wanted something with some level of automation that would take multiple prints at once. What I really needed (in my ignorance) was the ability to scan negatives I got with this unit! Using the included software along with color restoration and digital ICE, I get better results than I ever could scanning the prints. Now it is certainly not fast and uses a ton of memory with these option set, but the results are worth it. I set it up, start it up, and go do something else for a while. My only problem is that the 35mm film holder won't hold more than two strips plus some tag ends with the length they normally are cut to from a commercial developer. I wish the holder and backlight were set up for three or four shorter openings rather than two longish ones. I also think it would be very useful to have an extra 35mm film holder so you can set one up while the other one scans. I think I will go shopping on ebay now for an extra.
